About Dr. Dany Kayle
Dr. Dany Kayle is a Lebanese-trained plastic surgeon and a graduate of the American University of Beirut.
He has more than 25 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and founded his own clinic in Dubai in 2012. He is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and his approach is built on keeping a patient’s natural proportions rather than changing them. For liposuction he treats the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, cheeks and neck, and he checks each patient’s BMI and general health before suggesting treatment. The procedure can be done under local or general anaesthesia depending on the amount of fat to be removed, and the small incisions are left open where possible to limit swelling and bruising. Patients who want fat removed for a smoother outline, rather than for weight loss, are the ones he usually advises on.
Techniques Used
Dr. Kayle uses tumescent liposuction: a fluid mixture of saline, lidocaine and epinephrine is injected first to numb the area, ease fat removal and reduce blood loss, and the fat is then removed with a thin cannula through incisions of about 1 mm. The technique is adjusted to the treated area and the volume of fat. Afterwards a compression garment is worn for four to six weeks, and the final contour settles at around six months. The clinic also offers non-surgical body contouring treatments that can complement surgery.
