About Dr. Hasan Ali

Dr. Hasan Ali is a consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, and the founder and medical director of Hasan Surgery in Dubai Healthcare City. Liposuction and body contouring are the core of his work. He has used VASER since 2007 and has trained dozens of plastic surgeons in the technique, from basic to advanced courses. He says he has performed more than 10,000 surgeries over 20+ years in Dubai, London, Karachi and Riyadh. He holds an MSc in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery from the University of London, MRCS (UK), EBOPRAS (France) and FICS (USA), and is a member of ISAPS, ASPS and BAPRAS.

 

Techniques Used

  • VASER liposuction: ultrasound energy loosens the fat before it is removed, his signature technique
  • 4D Hi-Def VASER: sculpts both deep and surface fat to show muscle definition, such as abs
  • 360 VASER liposuction: abdomen, flanks, waist and back treated together
  • Tumescent, power-assisted (PAL), laser-assisted (Smart Lipo) and standard liposuction, chosen case by case
  • Mostly done under tumescent anaesthesia, with or without sedation. Most patients return to work in 2 to 3 days
